Edtech platform KollegeApply has launched Orbit, an AI-powered conversational assistant designed to simplify the college admissions research process. Unveiled at the Elevate conference in Bengaluru, Orbit acts as a unified search interface where students can query information regarding admissions, eligibility, entrance examinations, course fees, scholarships, rankings, and placements in multiple languages. The platform aggregates verified data across more than 10,000 higher education institutions, 200 entrance examinations, and 1,200 courses. Orbit uses conversational intelligence to handle contextual follow-up questions, aiming to eliminate fragmented search experiences across disparate education portals.
