Kotak Mahindra Bank Q2 Profit Jumps 29% to ₹4,212 Crore

Kotak Mahindra Bank reported a 29% year-on-year increase in standalone profit after tax to ₹4,212 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared to ₹3,253 crore in the corresponding period last year. On a consolidated basis, net profit increased 26% year-on-year to ₹5,645 crore, driven by robust deposit mobilization and sustained asset growth. The bank mobilized approximately ₹55,344 crore in foreign currency non-resident bank deposits and extended ₹16,110 crore in loans through international branches. Sequential standalone net profit increased by 2% from ₹4,123 crore reported in the preceding June quarter.
