South Korean gaming giant KRAFTON has announced plans to invest an additional $250 million (around ₹3,300 crore) in Indian startups over the next three to four years. Expanding beyond its core gaming portfolio, KRAFTON will direct the fresh capital toward artificial intelligence, robotics, and deeptech ventures. This commitment doubles its total planned investment in India to $500 million. The announcement follows a meeting between KRAFTON chairman Byung Gyu Chang and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Since March 2021, the BGMI creator has backed Indian companies including NODWIN Gaming, Loco, and Pratilipi.
