Kubo Care Launches Radar-Based Sensor To Monitor Elderly Safety At Home

Bengaluru-based healthtech startup Kubo Care has developed a non-intrusive home monitoring system for seniors using 60 GHz millimetre-wave radar technology. Founded in 2024 by CEO Ayush Agrawal and COO Anurag Ram Chandran, the company created ceiling- and wall-mounted sensors that track human movement in three dimensions using radio waves instead of cameras or microphones. The device detects falls and abnormal activity without invading privacy, addressing risks in areas like bathrooms. Both founders, who met at Antler’s Bengaluru residency, drew from personal family caregiving experiences to build the elderly care solution.
