Hearing technology startup Legato has launched its AI-powered hearing glasses, designed to provide an accessible and discreet alternative to traditional hearing aids. The device integrates artificial intelligence into everyday eyewear frames to assist individuals with hearing impairments, specifically targeting common barriers such as high costs, physical discomfort, and social stigma associated with standard audio devices. By combining ambient audio processing and smart acoustics within a standard glasses form factor, Legato aims to democratize hearing care and expand assistive hardware adoption among consumers seeking non-intrusive, everyday health technology solutions globally.
