Shares of eyewear unicorn Lenskart fell up to 5% to ₹643.80 on the BSE following reports of a major secondary stake sale. Early backer Alpha Wave Ventures is reportedly offloading up to a 1.6% stake worth approximately ₹1,691 crore via block deals at a floor price of ₹640 per share, representing a 5.6% discount. The proposed transaction includes 15.1 million shares with a greenshoe option of 11.3 million shares. This follows Alpha Wave’s previous stake sale of ₹1,856.8 crore in August, which was acquired by institutional buyers like NPS, HDFC, and Morgan Stanley.
