Lightspeed Venture Partners has completely exited its 1.61% stake in edtech major PhysicsWallah through a ₹550 crore block deal on the National Stock Exchange. The transaction saw Lightspeed Opportunity Fund II offload 4.66 crore shares at ₹117.72 each. Domestic and global institutional investors absorbed the stake, with ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund leading purchases by acquiring shares worth ₹258.98 crore. Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Tata AIA Life Insurance also participated. PhysicsWallah recently posted a 24% year-on-year revenue rise to ₹1,054 crore in Q1 FY27, turning EBITDA positive at ₹52 crore.
