Mumbai-based logistics startup OORJAA has raised Rs 9.7 crore ($1 million) in the first close of its Series A funding round, led by Equentis Angel Fund with participation from Inflection Point Ventures. Founded in 2019 by Sandeep Patil, Prashant Mohite, Yogesh Parab, and Umesh Singh, the startup runs mid-mile and last-mile logistics operations across 200 Indian cities. The fresh capital will fund product engineering, scale its proprietary AI/SaaS logistics stack Datashastra, and enhance control-tower capabilities. The company operates on an outcome-linked, cost-per-unit commercial pricing model for enterprise clients.
