Luggage Brand Mokobara to Raise $9.5M Series C Led by Sauce VC

Bengaluru-based D2C luggage brand Mokobara is set to raise Rs 90.66 crore ($9.5 million) in a Series C funding round led by existing investor Sauce VC. Sauce VC will contribute Rs 57.68 crore, with participation from Niveshaay Sambhav Fund, Ayra Ventures, Peak XV Partners, and angel investor Vivek Jain. The fundraise values the travel accessories company at around Rs 1,930 crore ($203 million), up 2.76X from its previous round in February 2024. Founded in 2020 by Sangeet Agrawal and Navin Parwal, Mokobara plans to deploy the fresh capital to accelerate business growth, strengthen balance sheet reserves, and build long-term operational capabilities.
