Gurugram-based luxury watchmaker Rotoris has raised Rs 70 crore in a Series A funding round led by venture capital firm Blume Ventures. Early-stage investors 9Unicorns and Centricity also participated in the round. Founded by Aakash Anand and Prerna Gupta, the homegrown premium horology startup plans to deploy the fresh capital to build flagship physical experience centres, dubbed 'Rotoris House', in Mumbai and New York. The company also aims to scale its global design capabilities, strengthen local precision manufacturing, and expand its product lines to capture growing international demand for modern Indian luxury lifestyle goods.
