Gurugram-based independent luxury watchmaker Rotoris has raised Rs 70 crore ($8.5 million) in a Series A funding round led by Blume Ventures. The round saw participation from 9Unicorns, Centricity, and prominent angel investors, including BlackRock's Diwakar Goel, former Coca-Cola executive Atul Singh, Adhiraj Burman of Dabur, and television host Rannvijay Singha. Rotoris plans to use the capital to expand research, scale manufacturing, and open appointment-based Rotoris House spaces globally. The startup produces limited-edition analogue watches featuring natural stone dials and claims forty percent of its customer demand originates from international markets.
