MakeMyTrip Swings to $1.8 Million Profit in Q2 FY27

Online travel company MakeMyTrip posted a consolidated net profit of $1.8 million for Q2 FY27, turning profitable from a net loss of $5.7 million a year earlier. Consolidated revenue rose 2.5% year-on-year to $235.2 million, supported by higher operating profit and lower finance costs. On a constant currency basis, revenue grew 11.2%, tempered by a 10% rupee depreciation against the dollar. Gross bookings climbed 11.3% to $2.72 billion. Hotels and packages contributed $107.1 million to revenue, while bus ticketing surged 16.6% to $39.1 million on higher ticket volumes.
