Bengaluru-based semiconductor metrology startup Makr Microsystems has raised ₹10.2 crore in a seed funding round led by frontier-tech venture capital firm Bluehill VC, with participation from Artha Venture Fund. Founded by Ashwin Lal, the startup develops nanoscale 3D subsurface metrology technology designed to help semiconductor manufacturers inspect and measure hidden structures during chip fabrication. The capital injection will help the deeptech company advance its proprietary hardware and software solutions as India accelerates efforts to build domestic semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, and testing ecosystems.
