Mamaearth Parent Honasa Scraps ₹135 Crore Fluence Pharma Acquisition

Honasa Consumer, the parent company of D2C brand Mamaearth, has called off its proposed ₹135 crore acquisition of a 58% majority stake in nutraceutical startup Fluence Pharma. The transaction was cancelled due to the non-fulfilment of closing conditions outlined in the share purchase agreement signed in June 2026. Honasa had originally planned to acquire the remaining 42% over five to seven years to bolster its skin and hair supplement portfolio across 3,000 dermatologists. Honasa stated it remains committed to the nutraceutical category and will continue evaluating other organic and inorganic opportunities.
