IT services company Mastech announced it has achieved a 67% increase in internal productivity by adopting an AI-first operating framework dubbed the Autonomous Enterprise. Serving as its own initial test case, the company integrated artificial intelligence agents and automated workflows across key departments, including Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Security operations. According to Kannan Sugantharaman, Chief Finance and Operations Officer at Mastech, the initiative focuses on automating low-value tasks to reduce cycle times, allowing the firm to translate internal transformation insights into actionable guidance for enterprise clients adopting AI.
