Pune-based medical tourism platform CureMeAbroad has secured $1.1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by healthcare venture capital fund SteerX Ventures, alongside existing investor AIRA. Founded in June 2025 by Aditya Oza and Mikhail Bohra, the startup operates a discovery and booking platform connecting international patients with vetted hospitals across six countries. CureMeAbroad previously raised $600,000 in April. The new funds will be used to expand its hospital network, enter new patient markets across the US, UK, Australia, and Canada, enhance AI capabilities, and expand into specialties like oncology and orthopaedics.
