Meesho Discontinues CPO Role in Major Product Leadership Restructuring

Ecommerce unicorn Meesho has restructured its product leadership team, discontinuing the Chief Product Officer role to align execution with long-term business needs. Under the revised operational structure, product leaders will report directly to individual business heads rather than a central product head. Consequently, Prasanna Arunachalam, who joined Meesho in 2020 and took over as CPO in 2025, has stepped down from his Senior Management Personnel designation. However, Meesho confirmed that the IIM-Bengaluru alumnus will remain with the company in an evolving leadership capacity while his new designated role is finalised internally.
