Meesho To Create Over 10 Lakh Seasonal Jobs Ahead Of Festive Season

Ecommerce marketplace Meesho expects to create over 10 lakh seasonal jobs across its seller and logistics network ahead of the festive season. Around 6.5 lakh opportunities will be generated across approximately 1.3 lakh sellers for roles in packaging, manufacturing, warehousing, and inventory management. An additional 3.75 lakh roles will be created across its logistics arm, Valmo, and third-party delivery partners, spanning delivery, sortation, and supervisory operations. The initiative comes as Indian ecommerce companies prepare to scale operational capacity to handle the surge in consumer demand during their annual festive sales period.
