Indian technology company Micromax Informatics has launched a new family office with a corpus of Rs 250 crore to back deeptech startups in India and globally. The investment vehicle will focus on emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, defence technology, space technology, and robotics. It plans to invest primarily across pre-Series A to Series B funding rounds, with an average ticket size ranging between Rs 10 crore and Rs 20 crore. Co-founder Rahul Sharma said the fund aims to help deeptech founders scale globally by offering manufacturing support, commercialisation assistance, and ecosystem partnerships.
