Consumer robotics startup Inner Sky Labs, maker of Miko companion robots, has launched proprietary foundation models for physical AI to enable machines to perceive environments and safely execute physical actions. Alongside the launch, the startup is closing a Rs 300 crore ($30.9 million) funding round from existing backers YourNest Venture Capital and Keshav R Murugesh, alongside new global investors. Founded in 2015 by IIT Bombay alumni Sneh Vaswani, Prashant Iyengar, and Chintan Raikar, Inner Sky Labs will use the capital to scale physical AI solutions for enterprise and sovereign government use.
