MobiKwik Cofounder Upasana Taku Buys 1.1 Lakh Shares For ₹2.1 Crore

MobiKwik cofounder and chief financial officer Upasana Taku has purchased 1.07 Lakh equity shares of the listed fintech company through open-market transactions for ₹2.1 crore. Acquired in two tranches of 55,000 and 52,000 shares, the purchase increases Taku's shareholding in MobiKwik to 10.24% from 10.11%. Taku has acquired a total of 2.94 Lakh shares since the company's December 2024 initial public offering. The insider purchase comes as MobiKwik turned profitable in Q1 FY27 with a net profit of ₹7.6 crore on revenue of ₹281.5 crore, supported by regulatory approvals for payment aggregator operations.
