Moneyview Lists at 64% Premium on BSE with $1B Valuation

Digital lending platform Moneyview made a strong stock market debut, listing at ₹55.6 on the BSE, a 64% premium over its issue price of ₹34. On the NSE, shares debuted at ₹55, giving the company a market capitalisation of ₹9,788.6 crore ($1.01 billion). The ₹1,092 crore initial public offering, comprising a ₹750 crore fresh issue, was subscribed 98.46 times overall. Founded in 2014 by Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal, Moneyview will use ₹325 crore for default loss guarantees and deploy capital into its NBFC arm, Whizdm Finance, following a 2.6X jump in Q1 net profit.
