Motilal Oswal Financial Services and Calliope Capital Advisors have applied for 2.39 crore shares in Ola Electric’s ₹1,000 crore rights issue. The bids were placed using rights entitlements renounced by promoter entities ANI Technologies and Indus Trust. Motilal Oswal applied for 1.28 crore shares renounced by ANI Technologies, while Calliope Capital applied for 1.10 crore shares transferred by Indus Trust. Both bids were submitted on opening day. Meanwhile, founder and CMD Bhavish Aggarwal has committed to subscribing fully to his entitlements, having recently pledged a 4.32% stake to fund his participation.
