NABVENTURES, the venture capital arm of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), has completed the first close of its second fund at ₹450 crore. The vehicle has an overall target corpus of ₹1,500 crore, including a green-shoe option, with NABARD acting as the anchor investor. NABVENTURES Fund II will back early- and growth-stage startups in agritech, rural fintech, climate-smart solutions, food, and rural supply chains. The fund plans to leverage NABARD's nationwide network to scale portfolio companies, building on its predecessor fund that backed 23 enterprises.
