NABVENTURES, the venture capital arm of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), has marked the first close of its second fund at ₹450 crore. The firm targets a total corpus of ₹1,500 crore, which includes a greenshoe option, with NABARD serving as the anchor investor. The fund will back early- to growth-stage startups in agritech, food processing, rural fintech, climate-smart solutions, and rural logistics. NABVENTURES has previously backed 23 startups across its earlier investment vehicles, including Unnati, Eggoz, Jai Kisan, Beyond Snack, and aquaculture platform Aquapulse.
