Voice AI startup Navana.ai has raised ₹40 crore ($4.2 million) in a Series A funding round led by existing backer Ronnie Screwvala. Antler India, Neysa.ai founder Sharad Sanghi, and WestBridge Capital managing partner Sandeep Singhal also participated. Founded in 2018 by Raoul Nanavati and Jai Nanavati, Navana.ai builds sovereign, full-stack voice AI infrastructure capable of supporting 12 Indian languages and 45 dialects. The startup will utilize the fresh capital to scale enterprise deployments across the BFSI sector, enhance its contact centre platform, and advance speech models for diverse regional dialects.
