Nazara Returns to Profitability in Q2 as Revenue Surges 52.7%

Gaming and sports media firm Nazara Technologies returned to profitability in Q2 FY27, reporting a 52.7% year-on-year rise in operating revenue to ₹803 crore, up from ₹526 crore in Q2 FY26. Gaming remained the dominant contributor, generating ₹656 crore, up 2.2X from ₹296 crore in the year-ago period. However, advertising and promotion costs jumped 3.6-fold to ₹417 crore, accounting for 54% of total expenses. Meanwhile, revenue from ad-tech fell 13.9% to ₹124 crore, and esports revenue dropped 73.6% to ₹23 crore. Total expenditure rose 43.8% to ₹768 crore.
