Bengaluru-based cleantech startup Neo San is tackling urban non-recyclable dry waste by developing decentralised, compact thermal treatment units that process garbage where it is generated. Founded in 2022 by Chief Executive Officer Dhwaj Bagrecha, the startup aims to eliminate reliance on distant landfills and open incinerators. Neo San offers three electric induction heating models: Neo-X for washrooms and commercial buildings, Neo-XT for tech parks and small hospitals, and the AX model for industrial plants. Reaching temperatures of 1,200 degrees Celsius, these on-site units safely eliminate sanitary, medical, and reject waste.
