Bengaluru-based aerospace startup Parsec Aerospace is in advanced talks to raise around $10 million in a funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from existing backer Lightspeed Venture Partners. Founded in September 2025 by former Pixxel engineer Effy John, the stealth-mode deeptech venture is developing next-generation propulsion engines for aerospace applications. The fundraise reflects surging venture interest in India’s deeptech sector, where startup funding climbed nearly 2.8X year-on-year to $290 million across aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, and advanced manufacturing.
