NPCI Unveils Android ATMs And AI Tools At Global Fintech Fest

At the Global Fintech Festival 2026, the National Payments Corporation of India rolled out open-source Android ATMs to serve as digital banking units for rural hubs and corporate parks. NPCI also introduced AiNxt, an open-source platform enabling enterprises to deploy custom AI agents, alongside AtOM for managing partner onboarding across UPI. Additionally, UIDAI debuted a Face Auth SDK and Sandbox to streamline Aadhaar authentication for developers. The government expanded credit-on-UPI to include Kisan credit cards and PM MUDRA loans, while PhonePe partnered with Visa to launch cardless transactions for consumers and merchants.
