Microduck, an AI-powered companion robotics creator, saw its interactive toy robots surge in popularity after Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang showcased them. Over 20,000 units of the small voice-controlled robotic ducks were sold following the demonstration. The robotic devices respond to vocal commands, executing maneuvers such as somersaults, sitting down, and simulating sleep cycles while producing distinct audio effects. The viral showcase highlights growing consumer interest in accessible AI-driven consumer robotics and entertainment hardware, as chipmakers and hardware developers seek to demonstrate practical, engaging applications for compact robotic systems and voice interaction models.
