Speaking at TechSparks 2026, Omio Founder and CEO Naren Shaam advised entrepreneurs to focus on solving hard problems rather than chasing short-term trends. Shaam shared that if he were rebuilding his global travel platform today, he would launch it from India due to immense growth opportunities. He highlighted that Omio, which now operates across 56 countries, required two and a half years of supply-side work before launching its initial product. Shaam cautioned founders that rapid billion-dollar success stories are rare, emphasising that building a sustainable global enterprise requires sustained commitment and daily execution.
