Persistent Systems Reports 28.5% Growth in Software and Hi-Tech Revenue

Persistent Systems reported a 28.5% year-on-year revenue increase in its Software, Hi-Tech, and Emerging Industries segment for Q2 FY27. Total revenue rose 20.8% in constant currency to $487.6 million. However, reported profit after tax dropped 25.4% to ₹3,515.1 million ($36.8 million), primarily impacted by $19 million to $20 million in acquisition-related expenses for Nagarro. Operating profit after tax grew 5% to ₹4,951.5 million ($51.8 million). The company highlighted rapid traction for its Software Reinvention Services, which leverage artificial intelligence to speed up product launches by nearly 50% for enterprise software clients.
