Robotics-focused startup Physicl has raised $10 million in fresh funding to tackle the persistent simulation-to-real gap in autonomous robotics. The company is repurposing a digital rendering and physics simulation pipeline originally engineered for online e-commerce marketing to create ultra-realistic virtual training environments. These hyper-detailed simulations help robotic systems train on real-world physics, complex object interactions, and lighting dynamics before physical deployment. With this new capital injection, Physicl plans to accelerate product development, expand engineering talent, and build out its proprietary simulation platform to help robotics companies train and deploy embodied artificial intelligence agents with greater accuracy and speed.
