PhysicsWallah Returns to Profitability With ₹143.6 Cr Net Profit in Q2

Edtech major PhysicsWallah returned to profitability in the second quarter of FY27, reporting a consolidated net profit of ₹143.6 crore. This marks a 106% jump compared to ₹69.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, recovering strongly from a ₹88.3 crore net loss recorded in the preceding quarter. The Alakh Pandey-led unicorn saw its operating revenue increase 18.2% year-on-year to ₹1,242.3 crore from ₹1,051.3 crore. Total income reached ₹1,334.6 crore including other income of ₹92.4 crore, while overall operating expenses grew 10.6% year-on-year to ₹1,105.4 crore during the period.
