PhysicsWallah's FinZ Sells Rs 95.8 Crore Loan Portfolio to Auxilo

Edtech unicorn PhysicsWallah’s wholly owned lending subsidiary, FinZ Finance, has agreed to sell and transfer its student loan portfolio worth Rs 95.79 crore to Reserve Bank of India-registered non-banking financial company Auxilo Finserve. The transaction marks a strategic pivot for PhysicsWallah away from balance-sheet lending toward co-lending partnerships with third-party financiers. FinZ Finance had secured its NBFC license in September 2025 before commencing operations in February 2026. Separately, PhysicsWallah reported a 24.4% year-on-year revenue increase to Rs 1,054 crore for Q1 FY27, while narrowing its quarterly net loss by 30.7% to Rs 88 crore.
