Pine Labs Hires Ex-Razorpay Executive Jayaram Karthik As COO

Fintech unicorn Pine Labs has appointed former Razorpay senior vice president Jayaram Karthik as its new chief operating officer to strengthen operational capabilities. Karthik will oversee operations and merchant experiences across India and international territories spanning over 20 countries. He previously spent more than five years leading business operations at payments competitor Razorpay, alongside holding senior roles at Amazon, Citibank, and American Express. The leadership change comes as Pine Labs expands globally, with international operations contributing 15% of revenue in FY26. In FY26, the company posted operational revenue of ₹2,711 crore and adjusted EBITDA of ₹559 crore.
