Pine Labs Unveils AI Agent OS and Grantex Authorization Framework

Fintech giant Pine Labs has introduced an enterprise commerce operating system centered around AI agents, CTO Sanjeev Kumar announced at TechSparks 2026. The platform features Grantex, described as Open Authorization 2.0 for AI agents, which assigns precise permissions, expiry parameters, and human-authorizer records to autonomous agents. The system can revoke unauthorized actions in real time and maintains a tamper-proof hash-chain audit trail. Pine Labs is also launching an Agent Store to enable third-party developers to deploy secure, auditable commerce and banking AI agents for merchants and financial institutions.
