Bengaluru-based spacetech startup Pixxel has established a dedicated US subsidiary, Pixxel Federal, to accelerate its business with American civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies. The new entity aims to expand beyond supplying hyperspectral satellite imagery to offering integrated sensing technologies, specialized software, and complete satellite systems. Led by founder and CEO Awais Ahmed, the move builds on Pixxel's existing partnerships with NASA and the National Reconnaissance Office. The subsidiary will focus on helping US federal agencies leverage hyperspectral imaging for strategic defense, resource mapping, and environmental intelligence missions.
