Bengaluru-based earth observation spacetech startup Pixxel has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round co-led by Temasek and Seraphim. New investors 360 ONE Asset and IMM Investment participated alongside existing backers Radical Ventures and growX Ventures, taking Pixxel's total funding to $195 million. The Google-backed startup, led by CEO Awais Ahmed, plans to deploy the capital to build high-resolution optical satellites, expand its Honeybee constellation, advance its Aurora earth intelligence software platform, and scale manufacturing at its Gigapixxel facility.
