Bengaluru-headquartered spacetech startup Pixxel has incorporated a United States subsidiary, Pixxel Federal, to expand its presence across American defence, intelligence, and civilian government markets. Pixxel executive Allyson Jenkins has been named chief executive of the US entity, which will establish an office near Washington, DC. The expansion follows Pixxel’s recent $100 million funding round and contracts with NASA and the National Reconnaissance Office. Pixxel Federal will supply hyperspectral imaging, satellite mission systems, and geospatial intelligence to US government agencies for specialized applications including terrain characterisation, advanced environmental monitoring, and tactical camouflage detection across strategic operational domains.
