Piyush Goyal Invites Major US Firms to Invest in India

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal met senior executives from top United States corporations in New York to invite investments into India. Goyal held bilateral discussions with Blackstone President Jonathan Gray and Neuberger Berman CEO George Walker on expanding private equity commitments. He also met IBM Chairman Arvind Krishna to discuss deeper collaboration in artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and quantum computing. In addition, discussions were held with General Atlantic CEO William E. Ford, Estee Lauder CEO Stephane de La Faverie, and AIA Group's Mark Tucker regarding opportunities across manufacturing, technology, and financial services.
