Hyderabad-based power electronics startup Leanwatts has raised $2 million (approximately ₹18.15 crore) in a seed funding round led by Trivest Partners. The round also saw participation from prominent angel investors, including Abraham George and Alok Rungta. Raised across two tranches, the fresh capital will be deployed to strengthen the company’s supply chain, increase component localisation, and scale up its domestic manufacturing capabilities. Leanwatts designs and manufactures specialized power electronic systems, aiming to capitalize on India's rising push for indigenised industrial hardware and clean-tech electronic solutions.
