Cybersecurity startup Protectt.ai has announced plans to acquire a controlling stake in AIShield, an AI security platform incubated within Bosch Global Software Technologies. Bosch will retain a minority stake following the transaction, which consists of cash, secondary shares, and employee stock ownership plans. Founded in 2022 by Shiv Kumar and Amit Phadke, AIShield specializes in defending enterprise generative AI systems and machine learning pipelines against security vulnerabilities. Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and cofounded by Manish Mimani, Protectt.ai aims to merge AIShield’s capabilities with its mobile security platform to build an India-developed enterprise AI defense suite.
