Pune-based quantum computing startup Quanfluence has raised $10 million in a funding round led by Chiratae Ventures, with participation from Pi Ventures and Zerodha’s Rainmatter. Incubated at IIT Madras in 2021, Quanfluence builds full-stack photonic quantum computers utilizing light particles to process quantum information. The founding team previously built Silicon and Beyond, which was acquired by Synopsys. The fresh capital will fund the development of integrated photonic quantum computers combining proprietary chips, control electronics, and software. Quanfluence targets launching early optical quantum processors by 2027 and scalable machines by 2029.
