Raise Financial Hires Ex-Upstox Executive Abhishek Singh as Pluto Insurance CEO

Fintech unicorn Raise Financial Services has appointed former Upstox senior director Abhishek Singh as chief executive officer of its new insurtech platform, Pluto Insurance. Singh brings over 23 years of industry experience across insurance majors including Aviva India, PNB MetLife, and Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance. Pluto Insurance will operate under GreenLife Insurance Broking Pvt Ltd (GIBL), an entity acquired by Raise Financial three months ago in an undisclosed cash-and-stock deal. Raise Financial previously committed to investing $15 million into GIBL to scale its direct-to-consumer insurance distribution business using tech and AI integrations.
