Early-stage investor Ribbit Capital has offloaded 11.31 crore shares in fintech major Groww through two bulk deals on the National Stock Exchange, generating approximately ₹2,217.3 crore. The shares, representing roughly 2% of Groww’s total equity, were sold by Ribbit Capital V and Ribbit Cayman GW Holdings V at approximately ₹196 apiece. The transaction follows previous stake sales by early backers, including Y Combinator selling ₹1,435.2 crore worth of shares and Ribbit selling ₹2,567.1 crore in May. Ribbit Capital previously led Groww’s $21.3 million Series B funding round back in 2019.
