Autonomous construction robotics startup Origin has emerged from stealth mode after securing $20 million in a funding round co-led by Accel and Zacua Ventures. The round saw participation from Unilazer Ventures, Schema Ventures, Z21, and angel investors from Tesla, Skild AI, Anduril, and 1X. Zacua Ventures founding partner Vivin Hegde joined the board. Founded in 2025 by Yogesh Ghaturle, Ashish Daga, and Tushar Makkar, Origin builds autonomous job-site robots like the OG-1 for wall finishing. The fresh capital will fund robot fleet manufacturing and large-scale commercial pilots across the US and Europe.
