Sanjeev Bikhchandani Returns as Info Edge CEO as Hitesh Oberoi Steps Down

Info Edge founder and vice chairman Sanjeev Bikhchandani will take over as executive vice chairman, managing director, and group chief executive officer effective December 3, 2026. He succeeds long-time chief executive Hitesh Oberoi, who is stepping down after nearly 27 years in executive leadership to focus on education, investing, and philanthropy. Oberoi will transition into a non-executive, non-independent director role. The leadership transition was announced alongside Info Edge’s Q2 FY27 financial results, where the Naukri parent reported an 87% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to ₹649.8 crore on ₹903.9 crore operating revenue.
