Hyderabad-based spacetech startup Sanyark Space is developing low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite infrastructure to provide centimetre-level navigation accuracy and direct satellite-to-device communication. Founded in July 2025 by former ISRO scientists Raghava Kundrapu and Akhileshwar Reddy Peseke, the 35-member team is addressing limitations in conventional GNSS networks like GPS and NavIC, which suffer from signal degradation and five-metre error margins. Operating at altitudes between 500 km and 1,000 km, Sanyark’s software-defined satellites aim to support critical applications requiring pinpoint accuracy, including autonomous vehicles with Level 2+ driver assistance systems, high-speed mobility, and infrastructure monitoring.
